As our Technical Superintendent you’re ready to take full responsibility for a fleet and make a serious impact—from dry dock to deck plate. If you’re passionate about ship performance, safety, and smart operations, you’ll thrive here.

Your Key Missions

  • In this key position, you’ll be the driving force behind the technical performance,maintenance, and operational readiness of several offshore vessels. You’ll balanceefficiency with excellence—making sure ships are safe, certified, and always readyto go.
  • Working cross-functionally with logistics, procurement, crewing, QHSE, finance,and IT, you’ll be the link between our teams and external partners like classsocieties, shipyards, and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with flag, class, and certification requirements
  • Lead maintenance using our CMMS system in collaboration with crew
  • Monitor vessel condition, report deficiencies, and drive technical improvements
  • Own the budget and cost control for maintenance, repairs, and dry docks
  • Plan and attend dry dockings and technical stops
  • Keep safety front and center by applying and promoting Jifmar Group QHSEpolicies
  • Visit each vessel at least twice a year and issue inspection reports
  • Support technical aspects of new builds and second-hand acquisitions

What You Bring to the Table

Your Background:

  • A Degree in Marine/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Experience as 1st or 2nd Engineer on offshore vessels—or ship repair background
  • Solid understanding of diesel engines, electrics and hydraulics, and onboardsystems
  • Familiar with ISM Code and Planned Maintenance Systems

Your Skills:

  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed, holding a positive and professional attitude within the work place environment
  • Fluent in English, with strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong planning and organization skills, cost aware and proactive
  • Good drawing and calculation skills in Autocad
  • Ready for frequent travelling and working abroad.
  • Comfortable working across cultures and time zones
